On Tuesday 14 March (2023) Dr Naude addressed a group of General Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Orthotists on Hallux Valgus treatments. The more common name for Hallux Valgus is Bunions, in case you were wondering!
Dr Naude trained the attendees on basic foot evaluations to determine whether surgery is needed or if conservative treatment options will be sufficient and he discussed evidence based surgical techniques and outcomes. He shared his interest in minimal invasive surgery and the positive outcomes of this technique.
The event was hosted by Cure Erasmuskloof Hospital and was sponsored by PPS Insurance. Dr Naude was joined by Dr Pauline Greyling, who addressed the audience on Ankle injuries.
